vertical centrifuges / Vegetable Oil

GENERAL B3 VERTICAL CENTRIFUGE SPECIFICATIONS

  • Self-cleaning machine with total or partial solids ejection.
  • Operating water system.
  • The material coming into contact with product is built in stainless steel.
  • Centripetal pumps included for each output phase, which provide output pressure stabilization and easier operation of the machine.
  • It includes power control board with PLC.
  • It includes electric motor and interconnecting piping.
  • Delivery of tools for the machine assembly and dismantling.
  • Operating and maintenance manual.

Fields of application

For degumming, neutralization, washing and winterization applications. The machine is designed for 3-phase separation.

It is also used in applications which require low levels of oxygen, due to the machine hermeticity.

Operating principle
The product flows through a feeding tube into the bowl through the inlet (1) and in the ring packing (11), it is divided into two liquid phases -a light phase and a heavy phase.
The light liquid phase is conveyed to the center of the bowl and discharged by a centripetal pump (6) while the heavy liquid phase is carried under pressure through the centripetal pump (7).
The separated solids are collected in the sediment holding space (8), where they are instantly ejected from at periodic intervals through the ports (10).
Ejection is generated by a sliding piston (9) hydraulically operated by an operating liquid fed through the piston valve.
Ejection cycles are initiated by the control unit.
